It’s been almost a week since I’ve started JM 30 day shred. She says day 5, 6, and 7 you’ll feel a big difference in stamina and I can tell the difference. In my push ups I can do almost all of them in the time and jumping jacks, as easy as they are they are they can be difficult too! But they too are easier. The squat with an shoulder press are still tiring as well as getting the mechanics down for the side lunge with a front raise. After JM I ran 5 mins on the tread just because and watched a little of the second level. Last time I did it I gave up because the second level was way too hard! But hopefully since I’m way more determined I’ll just work on through it. I start level 2 on Wednesday! Woohoo
After a long night yesterday starting at 6pm and finishing at 2am my Black Friday shopping was a success! For not wanting to go out I was happy I did! Me and col ventured out to Walmart and after not finding a spot at one we went to another and killed it! Then kohls for some blankets, the mall for a few items from the Disney Store and Boscovs, Oldnavy for running leggings, and finally Ulta for a giant bare minerals! Score. With 5 hours of sleep and up at 8. I did Jillian for my day 5 and went to the gym to burn a few cals off! Mmm mhmmm! Ordered mizunos inspire 10s and 2 brooks long sleeve podium tech shirts from roadrunner sports. Looking forward to trying out mizunos!
I am thankful for so much in my life. A great family, boyfriend, and living in a healthy-positive environment. I also have 3 little pups that always know how to make me smile!
Today is a guilt free eating day and I will enjoy every second of it. So far I already started my morning with 30 day shred follower by a glass of eggnog and apple pie. It’s a traditional breakfast! Yum.
Done. Better then day 1 but my body is sore. Very very sore. But tomorrow I’ll do Jillian and maybe not run. Tomorrow may be my day off. I’m just so darn sore! The excitement to eat some crap wore off and I could care less. Happy about that. Today I did have a few beers and Asian cheese sticks. Well worth the food and company. So well see. cooked a bunch tonight so will only have a few things to cook up tomorrow. Happy turkey day to all and to all a good night !
My body aches. It feels like high school pre season field hockey where it hurts to sit on the toilet in that squaring position or reaching up for a cup. Everything hurts. It’s a good hurt but omg ouch! Had a late workout with an hour of elliptical followed by a turkey carver and sweet potatoes for dinner from Boston market. The sandwich wasn’t as good as I remember it but the sweets were amazing!!! Just those two was 1290 calories. That’s why exercise is so important! I was only around 200 over but it’s all good. One more hard workout before turkey day plus a few miles Thursday am and Jillian of course :). Yay!!!
It is so darn cold today! Winter is coming!!!! I remember a long time ago we had snow on Thanksgiving! I am hoping that isn’t the case this year. Well, 3 very hard days working out – running many miles, and kicking 30 day shred (starting tomorrow and attempting to do all 30 days!) perfect eating – sorry Stacy’s pita chips your staying shut for now! Just for 3 days. The Thursday do a nice early am run before the feast. Which will mostly consist of egg nog, apple pie with copious amounts of whipped cream not coolwhip, Brussel sprouts with cheese sauce, mash potatoes and fresh bread. Who likes turkey!? Not me! So I’m good with the carbs and a green 🙂 then it’s back to hardcore til Christmas. Minus a day or two before with some cookie batter. But as long as I run it’ll be okay. No fitness competition so cookie dough is fair game. :). Yay for the holidays and yay for not binging from thanksgiving to Christmas !!! Ha
My plan the rest of Sunday with homeland tonight!!!
Much needed day off. Which means less food to eat because of no extra exercise cals. Oh well. I did shop a ton and refueled with a yummy grilled chicken sandwich from chick fil a. With sauce 350 cals. Ahhh.
I also picked up this super amazing hummus! It’s boars head. I love everything they make. And this did not disappoint. $3.99 a container though but worth it. Score 🙂
Is simply the best. It taste so natural and fresh even when my jar has been open since August. I know that’s a long time to have something so yummy take so long to consume but I go through spurts. On nut butters, off nut butters. My fitness pal thanks me because that’s 190 cals gone and 20 minutes of running to make it up. But I truly am 100% a Justin fan! My recent obsession is a honey crisp apple sliced, 2 tbsp of Justin’s honey almond butter and 1 tbsp of mini semi sweet chocolate morsels. No joke the combination of the two taste like cookie dough! I am still in my 2 week down sizing phase but I can’t help myself and therefore have run plenty of miles to compensate for the large calorie addition. It’s nice to know there are natural and healthy products out there that don’t taste like poo. Thank you Justin! I’ve said it countless times before.
